There is the Inner Kumgang Revolutionary Site in Inner Kumgang area of Mt Kumgang where various trees display an elegant beauty of the valleys harmonizing with the mysterious rocks and cliffs.
In this place with graceful, soft, sentimental and feminine beauty are preserved the barracks, the dining room and the well of the front rest home of the front headquarters during the Fatherland Liberation War as they were.
Being busy leading the grim Fatherland Liberation War to victory, President Kim Il Sung saw to it that the front rest home was set up for the soldiers of the People’s Army in May 1951.
Visiting the front rest home to see the soldiers at rest in October of next year, he inquired in detail what the troubles were and instructed a soldier to have a good rest to train the body, stroking his injured leg.
And he also listened to the soldiers answering that the rest home didn’t allow them to go back to their units in spite of recovery from nyctalopia.
Then an official of the rest home apprised that they did not let the soldiers in a block leave the rest home in case even one of them failed at the health checkup and function finding.
The President said warmly that he absolutely agreed with the discipline on leaving the rest home.
Dropping in the kitchen of the dining room and seeing the breakfasts on the food portioning plate, he said that the quality was good and various foods should be cooked and served, and embarked on the long road to the front.
President Kim Il Sung drove the outrageous enemies into the abyss of ruin with such a great love and affection towards the soldiers and made the insolent aggressors to kneel down with the power of such a steel-like unity.
Indeed the rest home was the tender house of love which the enemies couldn’t destroy with lots of bombs and shells.
